This is one great product designed with only top-notch materials and guaranteed to serve your baseball practice and warm up interests. The Varo ARC Baseball Bat Weight comes in a couple of sizes including the small 12-ounce and the regular 12-ounce.  Choose from a variety of colors depending on your preference including white/black, black graphite silver and hyper lime graphite.

If you need baseball weights that are perfect for warm up before you step onto the plate, this is certainly a good choice. To ensure there is no friction between the weights and the bat, the manufacturers have put in place a clever design they call the cushion-fit technology. Benefits of weighted bats

Both baseball and softball players of all levels are fully familiar with using weighted bats just before a game hoping that it will increase swinging velocity. But is this really a founded hypothesis? Bat-swinging speed is among the most important factors to be considered by players right next to accuracy.

From a purely scientific point of view, it is believed that activating certain motor units in the muscles using a heavier weight is passed on as muscle memory when you switch on to a lighter weight. This leads to more velocity which ultimately results in a more power packed ball hit. This power hit is what players are aiming to maximize.

Batters are also aware of the need to develop a proper swing pattern. When using a lightweight bat, your swing pattern is not really well developed due to the fact that the body tends to maintain its own motion. Using a heavy bat develops the swing mechanics necessary to make a high speed hit. It then registers in muscle memory helping you perfect your swings over time.

And then there is the psychological part. When warming up before a game with a heavier bat, the player already believes that when he steps up to the plate, the standard bat will feel considerably lighter. This type of thinking by itself gives the batter a competitive advantage helping him to self-motivate and entering the game in the right winning attitude. This could be the difference between winning and losing the game.

There is a reason batting weights have become popular over the years. Players report more improved and enhanced performance as a result to using heavier bats.
