Nokona Alpha Select + Glove Reviews

Nokona Alpha Select + Glove Series Quick Review

Finding the perfect baseball glove is essential to your potential success on the field.; most specifically to position players. Depending on the position you play out in the field you will need a certain size glove so that you can “get the job done”. The Nokona Alpha Select+ Glove is for sure an option that you will want to consider in your hunt for the perfect fit. As you will see below, the features of the Nokona Alpha Select+ Glove could be the perfect match.

The Nokona Alpha Select+ Glove is available in three styles and sizes, the “S2”, “S7” and the “SV17” models, making them perfect for different player positions. The glove is predominantly brown with lighter brown laces, varying in different patterns through each glove. The “S2” model of the Alpha Select+ is a Closed Web glove and would probably make a great glove for a first baseman, the “S7” model is a Full Trap Style glove, great for Baseball and Fastpitch and the “SV17” model is a Baseball and Fastpitch Closed Web. For an extra fee, all of the gloves can be custom branded as well for personalization.

Design

As you continue your baseball glove shopping, you will notice that some gloves are better for younger players and others for high school or college aged players, this, however, is not the case when it comes to Nokona Baseball Gloves. The leather that the glove is made of is such a good quality that the glove is great for younger players and something that they can grow with as they get to higher level ball. Of course, if a change of position or quite a noticeable growth spurt takes place, then purchasing another Nokona Glove would be necessary but a “wear and tear” incident should never be the reason for another glove.

After purchasing a brand-new glove, usually, you would have to go through a process of “breaking” it in. Some people use rubber bands or even sleep with their glove under the pillow just to make it easier to use when they hit the field. Well, not only are the leathers of the Nokona Gloves high quality and will last longer, they are also extremely light weight and really don’t need to be broken in. Of course, it does depend on the preference of the player, if a very flexible, “bendy” style of glove is preferred, a few trips to the ballpark may be necessary for you to be comfortable with it.

Final Thoughts

In terms of pricing, the Nokona Alpha Select+ Glove is in the $300.00 range which, considering the quality you are paying for with this glove, is quite a great deal. Each Nokona Baseball Glove is handcrafted so that the baseball player in your life has the best tool to play the game he loves. If it costs a little more than other brands and the result is different, than isn’t it imperative to purchase the baseball glove that will refund the most return in your game?
