Polyester and Nylon Comparison

When buying a baseball bag, two materials tend to standout. Nylon and polyester. They are more popular than other materials such as leather which begs the question, why?

Nylon for one is more expensive to produce which explains why apparel or gear that is constructed from it tends to be on the higher end of the price range as compared to polyester. It is more weather proof and durable as well. On the other hand, polyester is better at heat resistance compared to nylon.
