Taking Care of Your Baseball Cleats

After every game, it is proper practice to undertake good cleaning of your baseball cleats.  There are two main reasons why players need to have clean shoes when entering a match. Firstly, especially for professional players, they are expected to appear on screen looking good and ready to tackle the game. If you want to perform on the same level as the pros, you have to take care of your gear like they do!

The second main reason for clean shoes is tied around performance.  You cannot expect to be in top form rocking dirty and muddy cleats. They will not feel comfortable to begin with. To help take out the mud and dirt on the bottom, the best tool to use is scrubbing bubbles. Once the shoes are clean, a leather conditioner is applied to keep the upper part moist and flexible ready for the next game.
