Mizuno Classic Pro Soft Baseball Glove Review

Mizuno Classic Pro Soft

Hey whats up guys, here’s another review on a great baseball glove from Mizuno.

Right off the bat, it is a pretty average baseball glove.  There is not a wow factor, but it does perform as well as you need it to.  I would suggest this baseball glove to a high school outfielder.  That’s because it’s a great glove, but a little less competitive and high-end as other options.

I say go for the option that is less money but does the job right, and that’s what this glove is.  It has a nice feel to it, and I believe that it could be your glove for next season.

I was an outfielder in high school and got stuck with a shorter glove than what an outfielder needs.  I had an 11.25-inch glove when really you should have at least 12.  If I knew about this glove back then I probably would’ve got it.

Design

The Mizuno Classic Pro Soft is a professional quality baseball glove made from rugged leather, with carefully crafted roll welting which looks clean and smooth, and offers good stability for the fingers. The glove features an ultra-soft palm liner that makes it comfortable to wear, and the leather used breaks in very quickly, but also retains its shape well, even through regular wearing. This is a glove that you can expect to last for season after season.

When you buy a baseball glove, you expect to get something that will fit comfortably, to the extent that you forget that you’re wearing it. This is exactly what you can expect from this classic glove. It is soft and comfortable but still provides your hands with the protection that you would expect. The glove is available in right-hand throw and left-hand throw designs.

The glove is semi worn-in when you purchase it. Just apply a little leather conditioner, and you’re ready to head to the pitch. Some players feel that the palm protection is not particularly robust, and it is true that the softness means it’s a little more flexible than others, but once you get used to the extra impact it should not be an issue. Most professional-grade gloves have very little padding in this area, to allow for improved sensitivity.

Overall

If you’re looking for a glove with an old-school design that will perform well in most circumstances, then this is a great choice. It looks like a retro glove, and it is made to last too. It is an adult glove, suitable for most players aged 15 and up. Also, it’s easy to take care of and up to date with the demands of serious college or league play.

The glove is available in a couple of different sizes, an Mizuno explain the sizing well so you should be able to figure out which size to buy for yourself or your child. Whether you’re center field, left field, or right field, you’ll find that this soft classic pro glove will feel like a part of your hand, and serve you well for game after game.
