New Balance Baseball Cleats Men’s Low-cut 3000v3

New Balance Men’s Low-cut 3000v3 Baseball Metal Cleat

You already know that these New Balance Baseball Cleats are gonna be good, just because they are New Balance.  Yes, New Balance has been dominating the baseball cleat game from the jump.  A lot of MLB cleats are New Balance, hence why I had to review the New Balance Men’s Low-cut 3000v3 Baseball Cleats.

Design

To ensure a comfortable fit, these New Balance Baseball Cleats come with a soft collar on the heel and ankles. For added durability, there is a synthetic Nubuck. With this being said, you already know that your feet are covered.  I know that when I test out a new pair of cleats, I get ripped up at my heel because they’re not broken-in.  With the nice soft collar, this doesn’t happen which is a major plus for me.

An amazing debris free design means your feet are not worn down by extra weight while at the same time providing protection and breathability, helping you perform at the top of your game.  This is like how your car has nice seats and carpet and a radio, but in Nascar, they have an engine and wheels.  The purpose is to take off any extra weight that might slow it down by the slightest, which is what New Balance did with these cleats.

These New Balance Baseball Cleats include:

  • A synthetic sole
  • A revlite midsole
  • A comfort collar around heel and ankles
  • The top is made up of 25% mesh material and a 75% synthetic
  • Comes with a fantom fit
  • Has a debris-free design
  • Weighs just 12 ounces

Plastic Cleats vs. Metal cleats

In order to make any kind of move on your game, the player first and foremost requires great traction. Whether you want to kick, sprint, turn or quickly stop, great traction will mean the difference between a successful play or not. To help them succeed, players count on a pair of good cleats to help them gain good traction on the field.

Depending on the type of sports, cleats are arranged differently. Regardless of the pattern of cleats, there are only mainly two main types of cleats, metal or plastic.

Metal Baseball Cleats

These are the most popular types of cleats and have been used in pitches for a long time. They come in different patterns, shapes, spacing, and length. The great thing with high-end cleats is that in cases where they bend, break or wear out before the shoe does, they can easily be replaced without buying a new pair.  Metal cleats are mainly made of steel due to its durability factor.  New Balance Baseball Cleats usually have metal bottoms, which I love.  I just feel like the grip on metal cleats does not compare to rubber.  Also usually the durability on New Balance Baseball Cleats is higher than other companies.

Plastic Baseball Cleats

These are molded on the bottom of the shoes and will also come in different shapes, spacing, and lengths. However, plastic molded cleats are not as long as metal cleats mainly due to the fact that they could break easier.  Plastic cleats have a bending capability, especially when submitted to intense pressure. They, however, cannot be replaced once they are worn down.

Pros of plastic molded cleats

  • Less expensive than metal cleats
  • Are quieter and nondescript on hard surfaces

Pros of metal cleats

  • More durable than plastic molded cleats
  • Have better traction
  • Can be replaced without changing the shoes unlike plastic molded cleats

Chris is a cool guy that loves reviewing baseball products. When he saw there were no real reviews on the internet on any baseball bats or gloves, he decided to take it into his own hands.
