Marucci MEFMPC

A lot of people ask the question what makes a great wood bat. My answer to them would be the craftsmanship and attention to detail that is put into it. I believe that Marucci does just that with all of their wooden bats. This Marucci MEFMPC bat is just an amazing and authentic baseball tool.

Marucci is a Bat Company founded in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. They have always been known for the outstanding performance and design of their wooden bats. Marucci is recognized by all of baseball for their outstanding detail and Precision in every single bat. Believe it or not, if one of their bats does not me the high standard that they have, they completely take it off of the production line. This just shows how they would rather spend more money making a better bat then give a product that does not meet the highest standards in wooden bats. This to me is just incredible.

Design

Now let’s talk about the design of this awesome Marucci MEFMPC baseball bat. Like I said before, this is a high standard baseball bat that will probably blow you away. One of the things that I like about the design is the bone rubbing technique that they apply to their wooden bats.

What is done is they rub bones on the baseball bat to close the pores in the wood. Yes, wood does have pores which can sometimes weaken the bat. Having this bone rubbing technique in their production closes the pores and makes the bat much stronger than it would be. Did you know that famous baseball players like Lou Gehrig or Babe Ruth also use this technique on their own bats, spending hours inside the dugout rubbing bones against it? How crazy is that?

Another design aspect about this bat is that it is 100% Handmade by Marucci. Sometimes a robot can’t give the same feel and life to a baseball bat than a human does, so Marucci took this knowledge and designed their whole production system around it. Having it 100% handmade, the quality is automatically raised which makes sure that this bat is made with the highest precision and attention.

Performance

You can look anywhere online and see nothing but satisfaction from the performance of the Marucci MEFMPC bat. This Bat is a drop 3 which is most commonly used in high school baseball, so you do not have to get used to another weight.

Also, this bat is produced with the bone rubbing technique is much harder than any other wood bat. With that being said, this bat does also last longer than other wooden bats because of the high quality and attention in their production.

The feel of this bat I would say is solid and thorough and very satisfying when you hit the ball on the sweet spot. It feels very dense and hard which I personally like on a wooden bat. With that being said it also produces a very nice sound when you connect with the ball on a sweet spot.

Cons:

• More expensive than other wooden bats

Overall I am in love with the Marucci MEFMPC because of the high quality that Marucci always puts into their bats. From the bone rubbing technique to the 100% handmade concept that they use. Is very rare that you see nowadays a bat company that has this much attention to each individual bat. Trust me when I say this, Marucci knows what they’re doing.
