Louisville Slugger Omaha 519 Baseball Bat Review

Here we go with another Louisville Slugger baseball bat review. I always love these bats because of the value that they add for the price range.

The Louisville Slugger Omaha 519 is no exception to this value that I’m talking about.

Now let’s get into some details that I think you guys should know before looking at the features.

Details

So something that we don’t see that often, the Louisville Slugger Omaha 519 comes in models that are for most leagues.

There is a model for BBCOR, USSSA, and big barrel little league. This is a good age range for a baseball bat nowadays.

It is made out of a one piece aluminum structure. This type of bat is argualbly the most durable and has a lot of pop.

Now lets get into the features of the bat that are really exciting to see.

Features of the Louisville Slugger Omaha 519

One thing that I want to say about the Louisville Slugger Omaha 519 is that it’s just durable.

Like I said before, you can’t get more durable than a one piece aluminum construction. It’s just a smart move for any bat maker to have at least one model like this.

With it being a one piece aluminum contruction, you also get something you don’t get with composite bats.

That is it being ready right out the wrapper. I love this feature if you’re in a rush to use it or something. Braking in is a pain sometimes.

The last benefit of the one-piece construction is the price. It’s just cheaper to produce one of them, which is better on your wallet.

To stop the bad vibrations that come from a bat like this, Louisville Slugger added their Vibex Premium Vibration Damping Handle.

Sometimes you just can’t stop the vibrations on a bad hit but still this helps a bit.

Like all of the grips in the Louisville line up this year, the Louisville Slugger Omaha 519 has the LS Pro comfort grip. It’s pretty good but if you don’t like it, they made it so that the grip comes off easily without a lot of glue all over the place.

The last thing that I’ll mention in about this bat is the 6-Star Performance end cap. It makes the Louisville Slugger Omaha 519 a little quicker through the zone.

What Do I Think About The Louisville Slugger Omaha 519?

For the price, this is it man. I mean you can’t beat that price with a stick… or bat.

I’m a sucker for value over having all of the bells and whistles. It performs great. It has awesome pop, great comfort, and great value.

Make no mistake about the price, it does not mean it isn’t a great bat. You can still get up to the plate and hit a solid line drive for a base hit.

This is another job well done by Louisville Slugger and I can recommend this bat for you.

Ok, well thank you for checking this review out. If you want to check out more reviews and the price click here.
