This is a great product. The Hitting Jack-it Youth Baseball Trainer is patented and will work perfectly to stimulate the growth of baseball specific muscles. • May be too small for older players

Baseball Bat Weights

Anyone who has practiced or even taken part in baseball remembers the good old days when they first tried to hit a fast incoming ball with a round metal or wood bat. It is always the most challenging part. Frustrating is a word that most can relate with. It was always so difficult. To master the art, one needs to improve on their hand to eye coordination. As if that is not enough, the higher a person progresses in baseball levels, the harder the pitchers throw and the faster the ball flies making everything so much harder.

Among the most popular methods of improving on your hand- to- eye coordination as well as increasing your swing speeds is through use of a baseball bat weight. These could be either doughnuts or sleeves that increase the weight of the bat, making you use a lot more energy to swing. This results in increased muscle growth so that when you finally get to use the weightless bats, it feels lighter making you swing faster and harder.

Baseball bat weights as we have seen come in two main types. These are doughnut weights and sleeve weights. For doughnuts, you fix them onto the barrel of the bat making the bat heavier. While practicing, they will result in an increase in muscle growth on your arms and fore arms making the standard bat feel lighter when you finally get onto the plate.

Sleeve bat weights are known for a much better weight distribution along the barrel of the bat. This means that they make the front end heavier which is really what we are looking. By doing so, your swings are more enhanced making you concentrate harder on hitting the ball.

When going out to buy yourself a good baseball bat weight, you will have a lot of options since both doughnuts and sleeves come in a variety of sizes. The best one will depend on each individual level of the game and size. It is advisable to try out the sizes until you land on one that is perfect for you.
