EvoShield Protective Wrist Guard Review

EvoShield Protective Wrist Guard

So this gear review is on the very popular EvoShield Protective Wrist Guard.  I can’t tell you how many people I have seen wearing this in games.  The reason to wear one of these is the bad hops that a fast grounder can get can seriously hurt and bruise your arm.

Just think of it. If you play at a high school level, the pitcher is throwing anywhere from 50mph to sometimes 90mph.  If you’re in the infield, that ball is coming at you at speeds of 60mph to sometimes 100mph!  That gives you seconds, if that, to react to a ball that is doing random bounces all over the field.  You go to field it and are prepared for the next hop and then it hits a rock that you couldn’t see and the ball makes a new tattoo on your arm.  Trust me, this hurts, which makes you freak out and not make the play.  If you had an EvoShield Protective Wrist Guard, it would’ve bounced off and you would have the conscience to finish the play.

Specs

So I’ll give you some specifications about this product so that you can know exactly what this shield is.  So obviously the EvoShield Protective Wrist Guard is a band that has protection inside of it so it can be the barrier over your skin.  The Neoprene material is the elastic part of the band and holds the guard tight to your wrist.  The material is breathable and comfortable so you don’t have to worry about that.  Speaking of comfort, the shield is actually molded to your skin. So no matter what kind of wrist you have, this will fit.

The type of molding on the EvoShield Protective Wrist Guard actually disperses shock, rather than absorbing shock, to protect you better than foam or plastic padding.  On other guards, you can still feel a sting because of the material.  This is exactly why EvoShield dominates the game with their shield.

Why you should get one

EvoShield has been shielding players for a while and has advanced technology to protect you well, so you can keep playing the game. You never want the fear of being hurt by the ball to make you miss a play, or make you lose the game.  Once you get hit once, you know that it hurts, making you flinch at the ball every time you get a grounder. Especially if you play in a league where the ball comes at you at an alarming speed, your body will naturally flinch. Now, if you have an EvoShield on your wrist where the ball would come up, your body will have that peace of mind that makes you not flinch anymore.

I do highly recommend using one.  Look at most major league players, they have the same EvoShield that I am talking about today.  If you had the opportunity to ask them why they use it, I bet you that it’s for the peace of mind that they have, allowing them to make the plays they do.
