Easton K2000 North American Ash Baseball Bat

The Easton K2000 is something that I would consider buying. I mean for all of the great reasons to buy a baseball bat, this one has some more. First off look at Easton. They are killing the bat game to the point where I might say they are the best bat makers. Listen, I don’t know what I’m talking about (I’m kidding). So when you look for a wood baseball bat, you look at material, price, and name.

The material of the Easton K2000 is white ash from North America, which is nice. I like Ash because it is more of a softer wood and gives the bat a more delicate feel. It’s beautiful and smooth which means that you can hit the ball on the handle and not be affected as much.

I can’t talk about the price that much but let me tell you that if I am looking for a wood bat, I will stop right here. Some bats (especially metal) go for a couple of hundred dollars, while this one is a fraction of that, but that’s all I can say about that.

The name, as I said before is probably the best in baseball bat manufacturing right now. There’s a lot of big boys up there but let me tell you that Easton is pretty much killing it right now. I admire Easton, and so have most baseball players. It is now a household baseball name that you can trust. Easton is pretty much the Tesla of baseball bats (saying that Tesla is the top of the game).

Design

To go over the design real quick, its great. Like I said before, this bat is made up of White Ash. The white ash tree is such a beautiful part of nature and usually sits gracefully on parks and large areas providing shade. Once these trees die, the afterlife is being able to be created into an ultimate tool for baseball hitting.

The Kodiak finish makes the Easton K2000 look and feel like a premium bat that you get only if you are in the bigs. This finishing style brings quality to the bat, which is what everyone wants, without raising the price.

Another cool thing about the design is that it is handcrafted. Whether that means that the bat was handmade or just finished by hand, it makes the quality and attention to detail go up. The price should go up in the result of this, but it doesn’t!

Performace

You will see that this bat pretty much performs as it should. There are nothings supers special about it, but that is the best part. Nowadays, companies complicate things and try to make the best and newest baseball technology, when the stuff that’s been out working just fine.

I love essential baseball, and there is nothing that beats it. I am an old-fashioned guy so when I see a bat like this it just brings me back. Yea, sometimes its great to have fresh and new toys in baseball, but I am going to be completely honest, it is not needed. This is just my opinion but really, sticking to the basics is what you need sometimes.

Overall the Easton K2000 is one of the greats, and I appreciate Easton for coming up with this one. With the North American ash and the basic design, this is an excellent choice for anyone that wants their first wood bat or is just looking for an excellent and basic tool to use.
