Easton Beast X Hybrid Baseball Bat Review

Easton Beast X Hybrid

The all new Easton Beast X Hybrid is an awesome mix of all that was offered this year from Easton.

The Easton Beast X Hybrid has great design, pop, and performance.  It is made of the ATAC aluminum alloy that is included on all of the Beast X models.  I’ll talk a little more about that later but right off the bat (no pun intended), I can tell you that the Easton Beast X Hybrid is for all-around players that are interested in the new Easton technology.

If you didn’t know, Easton is considered one of the real needle-movers of baseball.  This is because they were the first to create a two-piece aluminum bat.  This is because back then they made hockey sticks with composite.  Easton is one of the more prominent names in baseball and is used all around the diamond.

Now I know you want to get to the bat review so here are some design features!

Design

The Easton Beast X Hybrid is a two-piece alloy bat, which gives great energy transfer and better weight distribution.  It drops 3 (-3) and it fast as the roadrunner.  Seriously, if you want to see fast and power mixed together in a fancy concoction, I think this would be a good representation.

So speaking of fast, let’s talk about why the Easton Beast X Hybrid is a little spicy and what that means for you.  So Easton had every hitter in mind when creating this bat, and to make everyone satisfied they made it a two piece-aluminum design.  The type of aluminum is called ATAC alloy and it is the brand’s new trademark for its bats this year.  All of the bats in the Beast X lineup have this material. It makes them lightweight and strong.  This material also gives this bat a nice sound when you square a ball up.

The two-piece design makes the engineers behind this bat able to make the weight distribution as good as they could make it.  That is the great part of making a two-piece baseball bat.  There is more room for you to mess around with the weight and such.  Also, I think it is more satisfying on the hit when hitting with a two-piece bat.  In the middle, there is a connector piece that Easton uses on most of their bats.

One other cool design feature that is one the Beast X lineup is the lizard skin grip that is super comfortable and stylish.  Most people would change the grip to a lizard skin anyway so this is a plus for many ballplayers.

Overall

I can say confidently that anyone can destroy a ball with this bat.  With the right technique and practice, this can be a great asset to a baseball player.

You get the best of both worlds with speed and some mass behind the ball.  I really like this since some people are just undecided.  Now you can just have all of it in one.  I was an all-around player as well and younger me would love to use one of these.
