Easton S150 Baseball Bat Review

Easton s150 Baseball Bat Review

Easton baseball bats will always show to be above the bar, just like the Easton s150, one of the most overlooked baseball bats.

The s150 is a one-piece aluminum design, which means that you get some major bat speed.  The other thing that comes to the one-piece aluminum design is the balance and control that you have over the bat.  I have taken many bats out for a swing and can tell you that if you want maximum control and speed, go for a one piece.

Easton has been around since the early 1900s, starting with making archery tools.  Since they started making one-piece aluminum arrow shafts, they had an idea and a lead in aluminum manufacturing.  After archery was hockey, then baseball.  Easton made the first two-piece baseball bat in the world and set the bar for the future of baseball.

Even though the Easton s150 isn’t two-pieces like the first Easton baseball bat, it still contains the same spirit that started at Easton.

Design

Like I said before, the Easton s150 is a one-piece aluminum design.  This means that bat speed, control, and durability is increased.

Bat speed is increased because there is much more balance throughout the whole bat.  The sweet spot is the same metal that is connected to the handle, making energy transfer much better.

The control of the Easton s150 is increased since there is more balance throughout the bat.  Usually, with two-piece designs, the barrel brings a little more weight.  When I used to use a two-piece bat, I would pop up a lot more since the bat dipped on my swing.  On the Easton s150, it most likely won’t dip since the balance is good.

Lastly, the durability is increased since there are fewer parts on the bat.  In some of the two-piece bats that I reviewed, there are connectors such as connexion technology or other connection pieces.  I have seen some players break their bats at this connection point, so it is just safer to have a one piece.

The aluminum that is used in this baseball bat is alx military grade aluminum.  I have seen this type of metal on other bats like the Easton s150.

Overview

In all, I think that this is a great baseball bat that a lot of players can get to know and enjoy.

Another great thing about the Easton s150 is that it is an amazingly low price on Amazon.  If you are looking for a good budget bat I think that the Easton s150 might be a great choice for you.

If you are a contact hitter that likes speed and simplicity, the Easton s150 would be a great choice for you.  The Easton s150 is what I would call a minimalistic bat.  This means that it doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles that some players might want.

Chris is a cool guy that loves reviewing baseball products. When he saw there were no real reviews on the internet on any baseball bats or gloves, he decided to take it into his own hands.
