DeMarini Voodoo Insane
The all-new DeMarini Voodoo Insane is here, with its end loaded feel, you’ll be smacking baseballs farther than ever before.
DeMarini has always been the muscle of the baseball bat industry, providing the best end loaded baseball bats out there. I can say this myself because I had a DeMarini Voodoo in high school. With confidence, I can say that it is one of the best baseball bats I ever had. The power of the DeMarini line is crazy, and I know it can satisfy your hunger for more mass behind the ball.
I always give the analogy of swinging with a sledgehammer since the DeMarini Voodoo Insane has a loaded feeling like this. Your bat speed can be decreased, but there is no telling how hard you can hit the ball. Also, all of DeMarini’s latest technology has been implemented into this baseball bat, which makes the value skyrocket.
Now, let’s get to the actual review.
Design
The DeMarini Voodoo Insane is a drop 3 baseball bat, which is used in high school baseball and college baseball. This bat is also BBCOR certified which means you can use this baby around the states since bats have to abide by some regulations.
Part of the DeMarini experience is the end loaded feel. A lot of power hitter prefer this, and it allows them to get even more power behind the baseball. This leads to a farther hit and a more solid hit. I personally prefer bat speed but I see the baseball community shifting over favoring some heavier bats as well. Since there are more weight and mass behind the baseball on the hit, it is a much more satisfying feeling when you drive through the zone.
The material that is used on the DeMarini Voodoo Insane is an X14 aluminum alloy design. This type of metal is utilized on almost all DeMarinis. I have seen no problem with this material and a lot of players are pretty satisfied with it. Basically, if the metal is strong enough, you can hit with it. Therefore I think you’ll like the X14 aluminum design.
Another thing about the DeMarini Voodoo Insane is that it has a two-piece design which allows better energy transfer, and fewer vibrations on a bad hit. The two-piece design also allows the makers of this bat to have better control over the weight distribution, to make sure that the hitter doesn’t lag too much.
Overall
Overall I can say that this is a pretty good bat and I appreciate the end loaded effect on the DeMarini Voodoo Insane. You can really feel comfortable getting behind the baseball with this one. DeMarini has been doing a great job this year with their lineup and I can’t wait for the new lineup to come out.
