For the past years the DeMarini Voodoo Balanced has been one of the leading baseball bats around the US.

The DeMarini Voodoo balanced is one of those bats that can give themselves away by the title.

Yes, it is a balanced DeMarini bat, but lets get into the details a little before I give anything away.

Details

For one, the 2019 DeMarini Voodoo Balanced has BBCOR and USA certifications.

That means that it can be played in senior leagues up to college leagues.

From what I’ve seen it comes in -5, -10, and -3 length to weight ratios. That is a good range from a bat.

Lastly it is a 2-piece hybrid baseball bat. This means that the barrel is seperate from the handle. The hybrid part means that the bat is made of composite and aluminum which gives it some great benefits.

Let’s get into the meat of this review and talk about some specs and features.

Features

One feature is the hybrid 2-piece construction as I said before.

Going into the hybrid part a little more, the 2019 DeMarini Voodoo Balanced has both aluminum and composite parts.

The composite has great flex and feel and the aluminum brings pop and strength to the bat.

Having a two piece construction just means that it is balanced a little better and has less vibrations on mishits.

The 2019 DeMarini Voodoo Balanced has a D-Tak grip on the bat which I haven’t seen any issues with.

It also has some 3Fusion technology incorporated into the end cap and the connector piece. 3Fusion is DeMarini’s trademark tech and so far it has performed well to my standards.

Other than that it has a great balanced feel that gives you a lot of bat speed and power through the zone.

What Do I Think About the 2019 DeMarini Voodoo Balanced

Overall it is a pretty nice bat.

For the price range it is pretty decent and I haven’t seen any problems that would be too alarming.

The hybrid 2-piece construction is a little funky but still it does have the best of both worlds. You just can’t miss out on that flex but the pop is needed as well.

I love DeMarini and what they do so if you were thinking about it, I say go for it.
