2019 Is one of the most anticipated years for baseball bats, and the 2019 DeMarini CF Zen is no exception.

There are a lot of new updates to the bat that I know all of you reading this will like. I know I definitely was excited about this bat’s refresh.

Lets take a look at the awesome 2019 DeMarini CF Zen.

Details

First off, I just want to get out a few details about this bat that is important for you guys to know.

First off, this bat comes in -5 and -10 size/weight ratios. That being said, the 2019 DeMarini CF Zen is more for younger players since it would be super light for the High School and College players.

Second, it is USSSA certified which means that you can play in most US leagues with this bat. This certification is vital to this bat passing inspection (if your league has one).

One last this that you should know about this bat is that it is made for younger players. The -10 and -5 sizes are too light for most High School and College players.

So that’s that for the main things that you have to know about the 2019 DeMarini CF Zen. Nothing too exciting so lets get to the cool stuff.

Features of the 2019 DeMarini CF Zen

Here we go with the meat of this review on the 2019 DeMarini CF Zen.

One thing that the 2019 DeMarini CF Zen comes with is the DeMarini technology that we’ve seen before: the 3-Fusion end cap and handle.

What does that mean for you? Well basically the 3-Fusion technology just makes the 2019 DeMarini CF Zen more balanced and have less negative feedback from bad hits and whatnot.

I personally like the 3-Fusion tech that they put into this bat as it does what it’s supposed to do.

Another feature like I just mentioned is that the 2019 DeMarini CF Zen has a balanced swing feel. I prefer this type of swing since it’s the best of both worlds.

It doesn’t feel very top heavy while not feeling like a toothpick.

That being said, the 2019 DeMarini CF Zen has a lot of pop as we’ve seen from other DeMarini bats from the past and present. Very good job on their part.

The 2019 DeMarini CF Zen is made out of composite which is personally my favorite for bats. When I get a nice solid hit with a composite rather than an aluminum bat, there is just more flex there.

It isn’t just me when I say composite bats are a good balance of lightweight and good pop. You just have to be careful when storing them in the winter as the composite is more susceptible to break like my old DeMarini Vexxum did.

With a two-piece construction, the 2019 DeMarini CF Zen is balanced even further, making it a real weapon to look out for this season. I always preferred two-piece bats when I was in High School.

One last quick feature of the 2019 DeMarini CF Zen is the cool new X-Lite knob which helps with bottom hand guidance and vibration dampening. There’s just that little more comfort that makes you a little more confident when up to bat.

What I Think

Overall the 2019 DeMarini CF Zen is a pretty sweet bat.

It has the balanced swing, the comfort, it comes from a great company. What else can you ask for?

The only downside that I see to this bat is the price since it is a little steep, but that is what you get from a premium baseball bat with all of this awesome new technology in it.

If you or your child are looking for a great baseball bat that provides great pop and balance this is it. The 2019 DeMarini CF Zen is a great candidate for top baseball bats for little league this season.

Just last week I was in Dicks Sporting goods and I saw a kid and his Dad looking at this bat. After they left and I got what I needed I went over to check it out. I thought what the heck let me check it out and my nephew and I loved it.
