2018 Combat Maxum

If you’re looking for a big boy bat, look no further.  The 2018 Combat Maxum is the perfect fit for anyone who wants a nice, simple, and solid baseball bat to hit some baseballs with.  With the one-piece design and large sweet spot, I can see this being a bat that pretty much the whole team can use.

Combat has been producing some great baseball bats, specializing in metal designs.  Since they focus on metal baseball bats, they produce some great baseball bats that have been sending balls for quite some time.

I remember one kid on my team in high school had a combat.  I really didn’t know what brand it was at the time so I just said it’s probably trash.  His combat baseball bat soon became one of the favorite team bats, because of the power it has.  Never judge a book by it’s cover my friends.  Anyways, lets get to the details, shall we?

Design

First off we know that the 2018 Combat Maxum is BBCOR certified, which means you can use it in pretty much any league.  BBCOR just makes sure that the bat isn’t dangerous to anyone, especially the pitcher since they’re the closest.

This bat is called the Maxum because of it’s gigantic sweet spot.  I mean you can just see from the pictures that the whole barrel is just a giant sweet spot.  This is one of the major things that puts Combat apart from their competitors.  I also know from experience that a bigger sweet spot means that it is easier to hit a baseball, and it is more satisfying the closer to the center of the barrel that you hit it.

Combat uses a new precision molding technology on the creation of this baseball bat.  This means no dead spots and an even distribution of power throughout the bat.  Also, this decreases sting off of a bad hit, which means you can feel more confident and comfortable at the plate.

Performance

As I said before, this bat has some major pop to it because of the massive sweet spot and one-piece design.  The one-piece design makes the 2018 Combat Maxum super light and balanced.  What does this mean to you?  It means that you can swing it faster than ever.  Combining with the giant barrel, it won’t take as much to send baseballs to the outfield.

I do not see you having trouble with performing well with this baseball bat.  The only thing that I’ll say might scare some people off is the price.  If you are getting a new bat to use for a couple seasons I think it’s a pretty fair price.  Overall I do like the 2018 Combat Maxum and the concept of the giant barrel.  I know that this would be a fun bat that I would get.  Also, it’s a pretty durable team bat if you’re a coach looking for the new team bat.  It does not take a lot to get used to compared to other baseball bats.
